Meet Your
Consultant:
Dr. Julian P. Keogh
With a Doctorate in Physiological Sciences and nearly three decades of experience living and working in Germany, I can provide valuable pre-legal guidance for those of you having to interact with the German administrative and legal landscape.
Maybe you are a potential beneficiary of a German will, maybe you are engaged in a dispute with a German company, or maybe you have property interests in Germany. These are just some scenarios I can help with before a lawyer needs to be brought into the equation.
Introduction & Overview
Watch a brief introduction to my professional services and background.
A Unique Multi-Disciplinary Background
My professional journey began in the upper echelons of biomedical research, holding a Ph.D. in Physiological Sciences from the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne. This rigorous scientific foundation provided the analytical precision I apply to every consulting case today.
Having lived and worked in Germany for over 25 years (including research at the Medical University of Lübeck), I have a native-level understanding of the German system. Beyond language, I hold formal vocational training in German Civil and Business Law from the Pharma Management Academy in Hamburg, where I specialized in technical and regulatory frameworks.
Since 1996, I have operated as a premier scientific translator and consultant, bridging the gap between English-speaking parties and complex German administrative and commercial codes.
Consulting Specializations
-
Strategic Extrajudicial Action: Resolving disputes with public bodies, authorities, or corporations without litigation.
-
Property & Estate Issues: Guidance on navigating the complex BGB statutes surrounding German wills and real estate.
-
Administrative Correspondence: Drafting professional, pre-legally informed letters to German authorities.
Scope of Advisory
I am not a licensed attorney (Rechtsanwalt). My services are strictly pre-jurisdictional and advisory. I leverage historical experience and pre-legal mechanisms to resolve issues before they escalate to court. For formal litigation, you must retain licensed counsel.
Integrated with Lexis Flow AI
My consulting practice is powered by Lexis Flow—the same high-speed AI pre-legal research pipeline you see on this platform. This synergy allows me to audit claims and identify relevant statutes with inhuman speed, providing you with data-driven advisory.
